Day 1. Spain / Ivalo / Saariselkä

At the indicated time, you will be met by our staff at Madrid airport for the check-in of your direct flight to Ivalo (Finland). Your journey to Lapland begins here! Upon arrival at Ivalo airport, the northernmost airport in Finland, you will be assisted and transferred to Saariselkä, 27 km from the airport (approximately 30 minutes). Saariselkä-Kilopää is a holiday resort located in Lapland, in the Inari-Saariselkä region, at the gates of the Urho Kekkonen National Park. It is one of the favorite destinations of Finns who come on vacation to enjoy sports and outdoor activities, both in winter and summer. This resort is made up of the village of Saariselkä and the center of Kiilopää, located 16 km from Saariselkä. The hilly landscape is unusual in Finland, a flat country, so nature lovers come to Saariselkä to enjoy the numerous possibilities of outdoor activities it offers: alpine skiing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. In winter, you can enjoy the 200 kilometers of cross-country skiing trails, the 15 ski runs, as well as the Northern Lights observation. The Northern Lights appear approximately 200 nights a year in this enclave. You will live a unique experience in your only, modern, and independent glass cube, which is a much larger room than a conventional igloo, in Saariselkä. Day 2. Saariselkä: Arctic skiing, snowshoeing, multi-activities for children, and tobogganing

We have spent our first night in Lapland and after enjoying a full breakfast delivered to our accommodation, we are going to start enjoying some unique experiences. Today we will be able to enjoy our first day in the snow with activities typical of the local population. We will combine cross-country skiing through the forest with snowshoeing, all with an expert guide who will help us with everything we need. This activity is recommended for people over 12 years old. But don't worry, children under 12 will enjoy multi-activities in the snow with a guide who will delight the little ones. Lunch/snack outdoors around a bonfire. Our accommodation is right next to one of the longest toboggan runs in Europe (almost 2 km long). It is also fully illuminated with lighting effects that make you want to slide down it. A 2-hour ticket to use the slope, a helmet, and the chairlift that transports us from the base to the summit where the descent begins are included. During this time, you can enjoy several descents. Optionally, we can enjoy a spa session or rent an electric fat bike to enjoy the marked trails in the area. Today's dinner will be a buffet-style dinner at the Pirkon Pirtti Restaurant. Transfers included by bus. Perhaps tonight, from our igloo to complete a day full of experiences, we can see the northern lights....

Day 3. Saariselkä: Husky and Reindeer Safari with dinner in a kota

We continue to enjoy the unique destination and activities. After a hearty and necessary breakfast, delivered to our accommodation, we will start another day full of unique experiences: Transfer to a nearby husky farm. The enthusiastic barking of these adorable dogs will welcome you. Your host will provide information about the life and training methods of these Arctic animals and give instructions on how to control the sleds, which will be driven in pairs: while one drives, the companion sits comfortably in the sled. Here you will have the opportunity to take excellent photographs and drive your own husky sled. Buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Next, transfer to the Reindeer Farm, meet the reindeer, and start the 45-minute safari. After the adventure, enjoy a hot drink in a Lappish kota with the local reindeer herder who will talk about the reindeer breeding and how they live together with these animals. Dinner will be served in a Lappish kota. Return to Saariselkä and accommodation.

Day 4. Saariselkä: Snowmobile safari, ice fishing, and a visit from Santa Claus in his igloo

A new day dawns in Lapland. After a good breakfast delivered to our accommodation, you will have the opportunity to experience a unique adventure riding powerful snowmobiles through snowy forests and frozen lakes. We will discover the sensation of having a hot coffee or hot chocolate in the middle of a bonfire while contemplating the bucolic image of Lapland's nature. All of this while being fully equipped against the cold and having received all the necessary safety and snowmobile handling instructions (which are very simple) to enjoy the activity. Next, we will enjoy another unique experience, which is ice fishing, in a lake, in the purest Sami style. We will learn the technique to open a hole in the ice and then use the small fishing rods specially designed for this technique. Lunch/snack will be enjoyed around a bonfire in the open air. We will return to our igloo after a day of magical experiences to rest. Although, who knows? Perhaps today we will receive a visit from the most well-known and beloved character in Lapland. Santa himself will come to visit us in our igloo, where we can take photos with him and make all the pending wishes for the new year. And if we have been good, he may even bring a small gift for the family (the visit can be arranged on any of the nights with prior notice to the adults of each family). Dinner tonight will be served in our accommodation.

Day 5. Saariselkä / Ivalo / Madrid

Last day in Lapland. After enjoying breakfast served in our accommodation, we will have free time to continue enjoying the surroundings until it is time for the transfer to Ivalo airport. Check-in procedures and boarding on a direct flight back to Madrid. During the flight, we will enjoy a snack-dinner on board with drinks included. Arrival and end of the trip.

Día 1. España / Ivalo / Saariselkä

A la hora indicada presentación en aeropuerto de Madrid con la asistencia de nuestro personal para la facturación del vuelo directo a Ivalo (Finlandia). ¡Iniciáis aquí vuestro viaje a Laponia! Llegada al aeropuerto de Ivalo, el situado más al norte de Finlandia. Asistencia y traslado a Saariselkä, a 27 km del aeropuerto (30 minutos aprox.). Saariselkä-Kilopää es un resort de vacaciones situado en Laponia, en la región Inari-Saariselkä, a las puertas del Parque Nacional Urho Kekkonen. Es uno de los destinos favoritos de los finlandeses que vienen en vacaciones para disfrutar de los deportes y actividades en plena naturaleza, tanto en invierno como en verano. Día 2. Saariselkä: Esquí ártico, raquetas de nieve, multiactividades para los niños, y toboganning

Hemos pasado nuestra primera noche en Laponia y después de tomar un completo desayuno entregado en nuestro alojamiento vamos a empezar a disfrutar de algunas experiencias únicas. Hoy podremos disfrutar de nuestro primer día en la nieve con actividades habituales en la población local. Combinaremos el esquí de fondo por el bosque con las raquetas de nieve, todo ello con un guía experto que nos ayudará en todo lo que necesitemos. Esta actividad está recomendada para mayores de 12 años. Pero no os preocupéis, los niños menores de 12 disfrutarán de multi actividades en la nieve con un guía que hará las delicias de los más pequeños. Almuerzo/Snack al aire libre alrededor de una hoguera. Nuestro alojamiento está justo al lado de una de las pistas de trineos más largas de Europa (casi 2 km de longitud). Además está totalmente iluminada con efectos lumínicos que hacen que estéis deseando deslizaros por esta. Está incluido un ticket de 2 horas para usar la pista, un casco y el telesilla que nos transporta desde la base hasta la cúspide donde está el inicio de la bajada. Durante este tiempo podrás disfrutar de varias bajadas. Opcionalmente podremos disfrutar de una sesión de spa o alquilar una fat-bike eléctrica con la que disfrutar por las pistas marcadas de la zona. La cena de hoy será estilo buffet en el Restaurante Pirkon Pirttit. Traslados incluidos en autobús. Quizás esta noche desde nuestro iglú para completar un día lleno de experiencias podamos ver una aurora boreal….

Día 3. Saariselkä: Safari de huskies y renos con cena en kota

Seguimos disfrutando del destino y actividades únicas. Después de un potente y necesario desayuno, entregado en nuestro alojamiento iniciaremos otro día lleno de experiencias únicas: Traslado hasta una granja de perros huskies cercana. Los ladridos entusiastas de estos adorables perros te darán la bienvenida. Su anfitrión proporcionará información sobre la vida y los métodos de entrenamiento de estos animales árticos y dará instrucciones sobre cómo controlar los trineos, que se conducirán en parejas: mientras uno conduce el acompañante va sentado plácidamente en el trineo. Aquí tendrás la oportunidad de tomar excelentes fotografías y conducir tu propio trineo de huskies. Almuerzo tipo buffet en un restaurante local. A continuación traslado a la Granja de Renos, encuentro con los renos y comienzo del safari de 45 minutos. Después de la aventura, zumo caliente en una kota lapona con el pastor de renos local que nos habla de la cría de renos y de cómo es su vida junto a estos animales. La cena será servida en una kota lapona. Regreso a Saariselkä y alojamiento.

Día 4. Saariselkä: Safari en motos de nieve, pesca en el hielo y visita de Santa Claus a su iglú

Amanece un nuevo día en Laponia. Tras un buen desayuno entregado en nuestro alojamiento, tendrás la posibilidad de a vivir una experiencia única subidos en potentes motos de nieve atravesando bosques nevados y lagos helados. Descubriremos la sensación de tomar un café o chocolate caliente en medio de una hoguera contemplando la bucólica imagen de la naturaleza lapona. Todo ello habiéndonos equipados completamente contra el frio y habiendo recibido todas las instrucciones de seguridad y manejo de la moto (es muy sencillo) necesarias para lograr disfrutar de la actividad. A continuación disfrutaremos de otra experiencia única, como es pescar a través del hielo, en un lago, al más puro estilo sami. Aprenderemos la técnica para abrir un agujero en el hielo y a continuación podremos usar las pequeñas cañas de pesca especiales para este tipo de técnica. Almuerzo/Snack al aire libre alrededor de una hoguera. Regreso a nuestro iglú tras una jornada de vivencias mágicas para descansar. Aunque, ¿quién sabe? Quizás hoy recibamos la visita del personaje más conocido y querido de Laponia. Santa en persona vendrá a visitarnos a nuestro iglú, donde podremos hacernos fotos con él y pedirle todos los deseos pendientes para el año nuevo. Y si nos hemos portado bien, incluso puede que nos traiga un pequeño regalo para la familia (la visita se podrá realizar cualquiera de las noches previo aviso a los adultos de cada familia). La cena de hoy será servida en nuestro alojamiento.

Día 5. Saariselkä / Ivalo / Madrid

Último día en tierras laponas. Tras degustar el desayuno servido en nuestro alojamiento, disfrutaremos de tiempo libre para acabar de disfrutar del entorno, hasta la hora del traslado al aeropuerto de Ivalo. Trámites de facturación y embarque en vuelo directo de regreso a Madrid. Durante el vuelo disfrutaremos de una merienda-cena a bordo con bebida incluida. Llegada y fin del viaje.
