Would you like to try snowmobiling for the first time but aren't sure if you're ready? Then this is the perfect safari for you! A guide will teach you how to drive a snowmobile and take a short drive to familiarize yourself with the vehicle. 4. Cross-country Ski Tour

It's time for cross-country skiing, the most popular hobby among Finns! Strap on your skis, grab your poles and glide down the snow-lined slopes. If this is your first time using skis, don't worry: there will be an introductory class where you will be taught the basic techniques. The price includes the rental of the equipment until 5:00 p.m., so that after the excursion you can ski on your own, at your own pace. Duration: 2 hours

8. Reindeer Safari

On this safari you will enjoy the quintessential Lappish means of transport: reindeer sledding. Formerly, for the inhabitants of Lapland, reindeer sleighs were the only form of transportation in winter. Caravans of 25-30 reindeer were often formed. You'll experience this traditional mode of transportation, a peaceful way to travel through snowy landscapes where the only sound you'll hear is the soft tinkling of reindeer bells. A hot drink will be served by the heat of a bonfire. Duration: 2 hours

9. Safari with Huskies

Guide your team of huskies through the white wilderness. Experience a winter safari with a team of huskies! When you arrive at the farm, the Arctic dogs will welcome you with their barks. Before starting the excursion, you will receive instructions on how to control the sled in which you will travel in pairs. If you want, you can switch positions midway! The guide will tell you about the life and training of these Arctic animals. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take some fantastic photos. 4. Excursión de esquís de fondo

En este safari disfrutará del medio de transporte lapón por excelencia: el trineo de renos. Antiguamente, para los habitantes de Laponia, los trineos tirados por renos eran la única forma de transporte en invierno. A menudo se llegaban a formar caravanas de 25-30 renos. 9. Safari con huskies

Safari prices include

All safaris include hotel/accommodation pickup and drop-off in the Saariselkä area, thermal gear, and guide services in English. In addition, snowmobile safaris include a snowmobile shared by 2 passengers who take turns driving, fuel, traffic insurance with a maximum excess of €980, maintenance and VAT. Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Finnish driving license.

Children (4-14 years old) are entitled to a seat on a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by a guide. Children taller than 140 cm can sit on the snowmobile as long as the adult rate is paid. Keep in mind that different conditions and prices apply to husky safaris, which are specified in the program.
