4. Cross-country ski excursion
Discover the favorite landscapes of the locals! It's time for cross-country skiing, the most popular hobby among Finns! Strap on your skis, grab your poles and glide down the snow-lined slopes. If this is your first time using skis, don't worry: there will be an introductory class where you will be taught the basic techniques. The price includes the rental of the equipment until 5:00 p.m., so that after the excursion you can ski on your own, at your own pace.

Come on our Altai ski tour, we will go through snow-filled hills and forests! 8. Snowmobile Safari to a Reindeer Farm
Drive to a reindeer farm to learn more about these arctic animals and the culture that surrounds them.
On this safari you will visit a local reindeer farm by snowmobile. At the farm, the herder will tell you about reindeer husbandry and the indigenous culture of Lapland that revolves around reindeer. During the visit, you will learn how to lasso the Lappish style (suopunki) to catch a reindeer and drive a reindeer-drawn sleigh. Before returning, we will have a coffee break and you will get to know deeply the Lappish culture and the world of reindeer.

9. Snowmobile Safari to a Husky Farm
The thrill of snowmobiling and sledding in one adventure.
This safari will take you from one dog sledding experience to another on a snowmobile! At the husky farm, located north of Saariselkä, you will meet these animals and receive instructions on how to handle the sled. Afterwards, you will enjoy a pleasant 25-minute ride on a sleigh pulled by these arctic animals. The sleigh is shared between two people who can change positions (driver/passenger) during the safari. 12. Reindeer Farm and Sleigh Ride

On this safari you will enjoy the quintessential Lappish means of transport: reindeer sledding. Formerly, for the inhabitants of Lapland, reindeer sleighs were the only form of transportation in winter. Caravans of 25-30 reindeer were often formed. You'll experience this traditional mode of transportation, a peaceful way to travel through snowy landscapes where the only sound you'll hear is the soft tinkling of reindeer bells. 17. Northern Lights Observation Field Tour by Car
Discover the northern sky phenomenon at our Northern Lights base
This excursion takes us to discover the arctic night. About 12 miles from the city lights we find a panoramic view of the northern sky. At the observatory, you'll find the Aurora Borealis theatre, a stage built inside a snow igloo. Here you will see spectacular photos, as well as a film about the myths and history of this natural phenomenon. Later, you can enjoy a delicious traditional reindeer burger in Kammi's log cabin by a bonfire. You will also have time to visit the place and take pictures. With a little luck, the sky will be clear and you will be able to see the moon, the stars, and even the Northern Lights! At the end of the night, you will receive a diploma attesting to your participation in the hunt for the Northern Lights.
