Levi is a small town that has grown over the years around a ski resort in the village of Sirkka, in the municipality of Kittilä, in western Lapland, 180 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. During the winter months, from mid-November to mid-May, Levi is the most popular ski resort in Finland, with a total of 44 slopes served by 28 lifts. From Santa Claus in Lapland, we want you to discover why Levi provides a unique experience for families, groups of friends, and anyone looking for something different.

Day 1. Barcelona - Kittilä

Meeting at the airport. Encounter with Catai staff who will assist you with the simple check-in procedures. Departure on a direct charter flight to Kittilä. Snack on board included. Meeting with your guide and transfer to Hotel Panorama in Levi (approx. 20 minutes). Arrival. Once settled, we will enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant. Accommodation.

Day 2. Kittilä. Snowmobile Safari, Lunch, and Reindeer Safari

Breakfast at the hotel. Before starting our activities, we will collect the thermal suits that we can use throughout our stay in Lapland. Today, we will embark on one of the most spectacular excursions of the trip, a snowmobile safari. We will be provided with helmets and gloves, and after receiving instructions from the guides, we will begin our snowmobile ride. Adults will drive the snowmobiles (2 people per snowmobile), while children will ride in a sleigh pulled by the guide's snowmobile. During the journey, we will experience the power of these machines and enjoy the snowy forests and frozen lakes. We will have a light lunch during the excursion. We will continue our adventure, crossing beautiful forests and frozen lakes, until we reach a traditional reindeer farm. We will take a sleigh ride pulled by these endearing animals while the herders share stories about their life and livelihood, the oldest in Lapland. Dinner at the hotel restaurant. Accommodation.

Day 3. Kittilä. Husky Safari and Meeting with Santa Claus

Breakfast at the hotel. We will start a new day of adventures with a visit to a husky dog farm. Upon arrival at the camp, we will be greeted by the enthusiastic barking of the dogs. Surrounded by nature, we will receive instructions on driving and safety before embarking on the sleigh ride. The team consists of two people, a musher and a passenger (you can switch positions during the ride). After the excitement and speed at the start, you will soon start to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We will have a light lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon, the moment that the little ones have been waiting for will arrive. We will set out in search of Santa Claus' secret cabin. We will arrive at an area in the forest, next to a frozen lake, where we can enjoy various activities such as snowshoeing and sledding. Meanwhile, each family will privately be transported to Santa Claus' secret cabin, where they can spend some time with him. Don't forget to bring your letter or anything you want to tell him. Santa will personally give a gift to each child. Dinner at the hotel restaurant. Accommodation.

Day 4. Kittilä. Optional Excursion

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to enjoy the hotel facilities or do some skiing in Levi, the largest ski resort in the country, with excellent snow conditions and wonderful landscapes. Lunch on your own. There is the option to join an optional excursion that is enjoyed by both adults and children: a snowshoeing tour through the forest. We will have a light lunch during the excursion. Day 5. Kittilä - Barcelona.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until the designated transfer time. We cannot leave Lapland without experiencing a relaxing sauna. Saunas are a tradition in Finland. Although the Finns didn't invent them, they have the highest number of saunas per capita, with almost one sauna for every two inhabitants, and they are the ones who use them most frequently. Departure to Kittilä airport. Check-in procedures and departure on a direct flight to Barcelona. Snack on board included. Arrival and end of our adventure in Lapland.

Día 2. Kittilä. Safari en motos de nieve, almuerzo y safari de renos

Desayuno en el hotel. Antes de comenzar nuestras actividades, recogeremos los trajes térmicos que podremos usar durante toda la estancia en Laponia. En el día de hoy realizaremos una de las excursiones más espectaculares del viaje, un safari en moto de nieve. Para ello, nos proveerán de cascos y guantes y tras las instrucciones de los guías, iniciaremos nuestro paseo en moto de nieve. Los adultos conduciremos las motos (2 personas por moto) y los niños viajan en un trineo que arrastra la moto de nieve del guía. Durante el trayecto podremos sentir la potencia de estas máquinas y disfrutar de los bosques nevados y lagos helados. Almuerzo ligero durante la excursión. Continuaremos atravesando hermosos bosques y lagos cubiertos de hielo para llegar a una granja tradicional de renos. Daremos un paseo en trineo tirado por estos entrañables animales, mientras los pastores nos cuentan historias sobre su vida y sustento, el más antiguo de Laponia. Cena en el restaurante del hotel. Alojamiento.

Día 3. Kittilä. Safari de Huskies y encuentro con Santa Claus

Desayuno en el hotel. Comenzaremos un nuevo día de aventuras con una visita a una granja de perros huskies. A nuestra llegada al campamento, seremos recibidos por los ladridos entusiastas de los perros. Rodeado de naturaleza nos explicarán las instrucciones sobre la conducción y la seguridad antes de iniciar el recorrido en trineo. El equipo lleva dos personas, un musher y un pasajero (pueden cambiar de lugar durante el recorrido). Después de la emoción y la velocidad del comienzo, pronto comenzaréis a relajaros y disfrutaréis del entorno. Almuerzo ligero durante la excursión. Por la tarde llegará el momento que los más pequeños estaban esperando. Salida en busca de la cabaña secreta de Santa Claus. Llegaremos a una zona del bosque, al lado de un lago helado, donde podremos disfrutar de diferentes actividades, raquetas de nieve, trineos... Mientras, cada familia de forma privada se traslada hasta la cabaña secreta de Santa Claus, donde podrán pasar un rato con él, no olvidéis llevar la carta o todo lo que le queráis decir. Santa entregará un regalo a cada niño. Cena en el restaurante del hotel. Alojamiento.

Día 4. Kittilä. Excursión opcional

Desayuno en el hotel. Día libre para disfrutar de las instalaciones del hotel o realizar algunas bajadas de esquí en la estación de Levi, la mayor del país, con unas condiciones de nieve excelentes y paisajes maravillosos. Almuerzo libre. Posibilidad de realizar una excursión opcional que gusta tanto a mayores como a pequeños, un paseo en raquetas de nieve por el bosque. Desayuno en el hotel. Tiempo libre hasta la hora indicada para el traslado. No nos podemos ir de Laponia sin practicar una relajante sauna. La sauna en Finlandia es toda una tradición. Aunque los fineses no la inventaron sí que son el país con mayor cantidad de saunas por habitante; casi una sauna por cada 2 habitantes y los que la practican con mayor asiduidad. Salida hacia el aeropuerto de Kittilä. Trámites de facturación y salida en vuelo directo con destino Barcelona. Snack a bordo incluido. Llegada y fin de nuestra aventura en Laponia.

The prices for snowmobile and sled excursions are based on two people sharing the vehicle.

The minimum age to drive snowmobiles is 18 years old. Children below this age will ride in a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile, based on their weight and height.

It is mandatory to possess a valid European car driving license in order to drive the snowmobiles, and it must be carried during the excursion.

All snowmobiles are covered by comprehensive insurance with a deductible of €1000, for which each participant is responsible in case of an accident.

Due to weather conditions (such as snow or ice accumulation) and for safety reasons, excursions may undergo changes in itinerary, duration, or even cancellations without prior notice.

The organizer does not guarantee weather conditions, snow or ice accumulation for the realization of the offered excursions or safaris. In the event that force majeure prevents the execution of any excursion and it needs to be canceled, an alternative activity will be arranged or the amount paid will be refunded upon return; either in full if the activity is canceled, or partially if conditions do not allow its complete realization.

Smoking in accommodations where it is not permitted may result in high fines, which can reach up to 4500 euros per person.

The customer is responsible for the keys to the apartments, and in case of loss, compensation will be requested.
